==Early life==
Robert David Keane was born and raised in [[Tallaght]], [[Dublin]],<ref name="Factfile">{{cite news |url=https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/robbie-keane-factfile-879727.html |title=Robbie Keane factfile |newspaper=The Independent |date=29 July 2008 |access-date=30 July 2008}}</ref> the son of Anne and Robert Keane.
