== Name == At the country's founding in 1992 following the [[Breakup of Yugoslavia|breakup of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFR Yugoslavia)]], the country's official name was the ''Federal Republic of Yugoslavia'' (FR Yugoslavia), as it claimed to be the sole legal [[successor state]] of the [[SFR Yugoslavia]].
