== Geography == Springsure is situated {{convert|68.3|km|mi}} by road south of [[Emerald, Queensland|Emerald]], at the southern end of the [[Gregory Highway]], and at the northern end of the [[Dawson Highway]]. Springsure is {{convert|764|km|mi}} northwest of [[Brisbane]].
