== Etymology == The Turkish name tr, meaning "tripe soup", consists of tr ("stomach/tripe"), tr ("soup"), and the possessive affix tr that links the two words. It came from Persian fa (fa, "rumen") and fa (fa, "soup"). Some South Slavic languages borrowed the dish name from Turkish: as bg (bg) in Bulgarian and mk (mk) in Macedonian, as sr (sr) in Serbian and Bosnian, and Çorbë in Albanian.
