==Early life== Power was born in [[Cincinnati|Cincinnati, Ohio]], in 1914, the son of Helen Emma "Patia" (nΓ©e Reaume) and the English-born American stage and screen actor [[Tyrone Power Sr.]], often known by his first name "Fred". Power was descended from a long Irish theatrical line going back to his great-grandfather, the Irish actor and comedian [[Tyrone Power (Irish actor)|Tyrone Power]] (1797β1841). Tyrone Power's sister, Ann Power,<ref>{{Cite web|url = http://www.tyrone-power.com/biography_sister.html|title = Biography-Ann Power Hardenbergh|website = Biography-Ann Power Hardenbergh}}</ref> was born in 1915, after the family moved to California.
