==History== The Baptist minister [[E. W. Kenyon]] (1867β1948) is generally cited as the originator of Word of Faith's teachings. Kenyon's writings influenced Kenneth Hagin Sr., the recognized "father" of the Word of Faith movement.<ref name="pugh">{{cite book |last1=Pugh |first1=Ben |title=Bold Faith: A Closer Look at the Five Key Ideas of Charismatic Christianity |date=2017 |publisher=Wipf and Stock Publishers |location=Eugene |isbn=9781498280341}}</ref>{{rp|76}} Hagin, who had founded a [[Ministry (religious)|ministry]] known as the Kenneth E Hagin Evangelistic Association, started disseminating his views in the ''Word of Faith'' magazine in 1966, and subsequently founded a seminary training Word of Faith ministers.<ref name="harrison" />{{rp|6β7}}
