Goderich has its own official flag, which was adopted in 1977 for the town's 150th birthday celebration.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://flagspot.net/flags/ca-on-go.html|title=Goderich, Ontario (Canada)|website=flagspot.net}}</ref> A contest was held, open to all Goderich schools and residents.
