Many local leaders attended the funeral that day, including former [[Chief Executive of Hong Kong|chief executive]]s [[Tung Chee-hwa]] and [[Donald Tsang]]. Shaw's remains were brought to the [[Cape Collinson Crematorium]] in [[Chai Wan]] later the same day.
