==Epidemiology== The lifetime prevalence of sleepwalking is estimated to be 4.6β10.3%. A meta-analysis of 51 studies, that included more than 100,000 children and adults, found that sleepwalking is more common in children with an estimated 5%, compared with 1.5% of adults, sleepwalking at least once in the previous 12 months. The rate of sleepwalking has not been found to vary across ages during childhood.<ref>{{cite journal |last1=Stallman |first1=HM |last2=Kohler |first2=M |title=Prevalence of Sleepwalking: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis. |journal=PLOS ONE |date=2016 |volume=11 |issue=11 |pages=e0164769 |doi=10.1371/journal.pone.0164769 |pmid=27832078 |pmc=5104520|bibcode=2016PLoSO..1164769S |doi-access=free}}</ref>
