A hot dog toaster is a variation on the toaster design; it can cook [[hot dog]]s without the use of microwaves or stoves. The appliance looks similar to a regular toaster, except that there are two slots in the middle for hot dogs and two slots on the outside for toasting the buns. Or there can be a set of skewers upon which hot dog are impaled.{{cn|date=September 2022}}
