==Arabic alphabet==
* All languages using the Arabic alphabet are written right-to-left.
* A number of other languages have been written in the Arabic alphabet in the past, but now are more commonly written in Latin characters; examples include [[Turkish language|Turkish]], [[Somali language|Somali]] and [[Swahili language|Swahili]].
