This version is a space program that becomes Earth's line of defense from extraterrestrial threats and resides in the Alpha Flight Low-Orbit Space Station. During the "[[Civil War II]]" storyline, it is revealed that the Alpha Flight Space Program is overseen by its [[Board of governors|Board of Governors]], which consists of representatives of the different nations of Earth and other planets that share the Alpha Flight Space Program's interests.
