== Prizes == The Dutch Language Union has administered the [[Prijs der Nederlandse Letteren]] (''Dutch Literature Prize'') since 1986. The prize is awarded every three years to an author from the Netherlands, Belgium or Suriname. It is considered one of the most prestigious prizes in Dutch language literature. Another literary award administered by the Dutch Language Union is the [[Toneelschrijfprijs]] for [[playwright]]s.
