In ''Baldr draumar'', Odin has awoken a deceased völva in [[Hel (location)|Hel]], and questions her repeatedly about his son [[Baldr]]'s bad dreams. Loki is mentioned in stanza 14, the final stanza of the poem, where the völva tells Odin to ride home, to be proud of himself, and that no one else will come visit until "Loki is loose, escaped from his bonds" and the onset of [[Ragnarök]].{{sfnp|Larrington|1999|p=245}}
