The Joint Service Signals Organisation is part of [[Joint Forces Intelligence Group]] branch of [[Defence Intelligence]]. It provides direct support to strategic decision making and operations and is made up of personnel from all three services. Joint Service Signal Unit (Digby) is one of several Joint Service Signal Units (JSSU) within the JSSO and provides specialist communications information systems to the British Armed Forces.<ref name="Joint Service Signal Unit Digby"/>
