===Sex tape===
In 1988, Lowe, who was 24 years old at the time, was involved in a sex scandal over a [[Celebrity sex tape|videotape]] of him having sex with two people, one of whom was 22 and the other her 16-year-old friend. The three met at Club Rio, an Atlanta nightclub. They were videotaped the night before the [[1988 Democratic National Convention]] in [[Atlanta]], Georgia.
