This route can also be utilised during engineering works or disruption.<ref name=":2" /> The route uses the [[Gospel Oak to Barking line]] and the [[Great Eastern Main Line]], with trains passing through {{rws|Woodgrange Park}}, {{rws|Forest Gate}}, and {{rws|Maryland}} stations without stopping.
