[[Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers]] (IEEE), the world's largest professional society, has many initiatives to advance the state of the art of consumer electronics. IEEE has a dedicated society of thousands of professionals to promote CE, called the Consumer Electronics Society (CESoc).<ref>IEEE Consumer Electronics Society, http://cesoc.ieee.org/ [https://ctsoc.ieee.org/]</ref> IEEE has multiple periodicals and international conferences to promote CE and encourage collaborative research and development in CE. The flagship conference of CESoc, called IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE), is in its 35th year.
