== Theme music == From the show's premiere in 1981 until 1987, ''MotorWeek'''s original theme music was composed by Don Barto. In Season 7 (1987β88), Mark Roumelis took over as music composer. The unaired pilot also featured music from Mark Roumelis, but it is different from the piece he made for the 1987β88 season; this piece has undergone a few updates since.
