Larger, [[Vertical integration|vertically integrated]] conglomerates may include placements of their own products and services in works as a form of [[corporate synergy]]. Owing to its common ownership, [[Sony Pictures]] films have featured placements of [[Sony]]'s [[consumer electronics]] products, particularly [[Sony Xperia|Xperia]] [[smartphone]]s, among other products.
