On July 6, 2017, QVC's parent company, Liberty Interactive, announced its intention to purchase the remaining 62% of stock it did not already own of [[Home Shopping Network|HSN]], the rival home shopping channel. In 2018, Qurate named Leslie Ferraro as President of their QVC and HSN units.
