=== Trinity Presbyterian church === The Trinity [[Presbyterianism|Presbyterian]] church was completed in 1886, thirty years after the first Presbyterian services were held in a private home. Built in the Gothic revival style with a steep roof, it was designed by Christchurch architect, John Whitelaw. In 1912, a church hall was added. It was listed by Heritage New Zealand as a category two historic place in 1990.<ref>{{Cite web |title=TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH |url= http://www.akaroacivictrust.co.nz/fastpage/fpengine.php/templateid/62/menuid/1/tempidx/2/link/1 |access-date=21 May 2023 |website=www.akaroacivictrust.co.nz}}</ref><ref>{{Cite web |title=Trinity Church (Presbyterian) |url=https://www.heritage.org.nz/list-details/5288/Trinity%20Church%20(Presbyterian) |access-date=21 May 2023 |website=[[Heritage New Zealand]] |language=en-NZ}}</ref><gallery> File:Onuku - Eglise (1).jpg|Εnuku church File:Church of Saint Patrick (1864), Akaroa.jpg|Saint Patrick's Catholic church File:Saint Peter's Anglican Church (1864).jpg|Saint Peter's Anglican church File:Trinity Church, Akaroa 01.jpg|Trinity Presbyterian church </gallery>
