* Film executive [[Walter Hamada]] confirmed in August 2020 during [[DC FanDome]] that [[DC Films]] was establishing a new film continuity tentatively named "[[Earth-2 (The Batman)|Earth-2]]" that would co-exist adjunct from the [[DC Extended Universe]] (dubbed as "Earth-1") and their more experimental standalone DC Comics-based projects such as the film ''[[Joker (2019 film)|Joker]]''.
