The engine was developed specifically for the [[Shelby Mustang#Ford Performance 3rd generation Shelby GT350 (2015β2020)|Shelby GT350]] version of the [[Ford Mustang (sixth generation)#Shelby GT350 (2015-present)|sixth generation Mustang]]. Bore and stroke are both up from the 5.0 L Coyote at {{cvt|94x93|mm|in|2}}, as is the compression ratio at 12.0:1.
