===Power generation===
The Zerger power plant under construction by [[Sumitomo]], [[Mitsubishi]], [[Hitachi]], and [[Rönesans Holding]] in [[Çärjew District]] will have a design capacity of 432 megawatts. It is primarily intended for export of electricity.
