In 2016, ''[[Junkee]]'' listed ''Rage'' at #35 in its list of the 60 greatest Australian television shows of all time. In 2019, ''[[TV Week]]'' listed ''Rage''  at #97 in its list of the 101 greatest Australian television shows of all time, which appeared in its monthly ''[[TV Week#TV Week Close Up|TV Week Close Up]]'' publication.
