Cardiff University is a highly renowned for several subjects in its department.

In 2013, Cardiff University was ranked as one of the best UK universities for supporting [[LGBT]] students, by the charity [[Stonewall (charity)|Stonewall]] in its annual ''Gay by Degree'' guide.
