==Use in education== [[File:การเรียนกายวิภาคศาสตร์ในอดีต.jpg|thumb|Cadaveric dissection at [[Siriraj medical school|Siriraj Medical School]], Thailand]] Human cadavers are often used in medicine to teach anatomy or surgical instruction.<ref name=":2" /><ref name=":1" /> Cadavers are selected according to their anatomy and availability. They may be used as part of dissection courses involving a "fresh" specimen so as to be as realistic as possible—for example, when training surgeons.<ref name=":2" /> Cadavers may also be pre-dissected by trained instructors.
