== Media integrity == Media integrity refers to the ability of a news media outlet to serve the [[public interest]] and [[democratic process]], making it resilient to institutional [[corruption]] within the media system,<ref>{{Cite web|url=http://wiki.lessig.org/Institutional_Corruption|title=Institutional Corruption – LessigWiki|last=Lessig|first=Lawrence|website=wiki.lessig.org|access-date=2016-03-11}}</ref> economy of influence, conflicting dependence and [[political clientelism]].
