==Education== The main primary school in the suburb is Pt Chevalier Primary School, situated on Te Ra Road with a roll of {{NZ school roll data|1440|y}} students.<ref>{{TKI|1440|Pt Chevalier Primary School}}</ref> Primary aged children also attend St Francis Catholic School in Montrose St, which has a roll of {{NZ school roll data|1488|y}}.<ref>{{TKI|1488|St Francis Catholic School}}</ref> Both schools cater for year 1β6 students.
