In May 2020, a revival of the series was ordered, co-produced by [[Bill Lawrence (TV producer)|Bill Lawrence]]'s [[Doozer (company)|Doozer]] and [[Warner Horizon Scripted Television]]. In November 2020, it was reported that [[Isabella Gomez]] was cast in the lead role as teacher Alicia Adams.
