===Approval ratings===
In 2012 and 2014, Abbas' approval ratings peaked at 64%. Since then, his ratings slowly declined. In 2017, Abbas' approval ratings was 45%, before eventually rising to 50% in 2018. In 2022, Abbas' approval was at 40% before falling to 32% in 2023.
