===Language system tags=== Language system tags identify the language systems supported in an OpenType font. Examples include <code>ARA</code> for Arabic, <code>ESP</code> for Spanish, <code>HYE</code> for Armenian, etc. In general, the codes are not the same as ISO 639-2 codes. These tags can be used to select local variants of letters that share a single Unicode code point. For instance, the Serbian and Macedonian Cyrillic alphabet has some language-specific glyphs for certain letters, which are only preferred and are not strictly mandated.
