=====2009 Red Cross kidnapping===== On January 15, 2009, Abu Sayyaf kidnapped [[International Committee of the Red Cross]] (ICRC) delegates in [[Patikul, Sulu|Patikul]], Sulu Province, Philippines. According to a CNN story, Parad was reportedly killed, along with five other militants, in an assault by Philippine marines in Sulu province on Sunday, February 21, 2010.
