In Sweden, a midwife, Ellinor Grimmark, sued the province of [[Jönköping County|Jönköping]] for discrimination because she was refused employment when, citing "freedom of conscience", she refused to give [[morning-after pills]], perform abortions, or put in copper [[IUDs]].
