On February 16, 2023, Seacrest announced that he would be leaving ''Live'' in the spring, primarily due to the travel, as his primary residence is in Los Angeles. On September 5, 2023, ''Live'' updated the show's look with a new, modern logo, modifications to the studio, and a brand-new show opener.

In April 2025, the show relocated from the ABC Broadcast Center to a new facility.
