==Magnetic scattering== Although neutrons are uncharged, they carry a [[magnetic moment]], and therefore interact with magnetic moments, including those arising from the electron cloud around an atom. The intensity of the magnetic contribution to the diffraction peaks will therefore decrease towards higher angles.
