====Pit sizes====
Females prefer a bigger pit size when choosing where to lay eggs.<ref name=Nelson-1995/> Differences are seen in the sizes of pits that created, as well as a change in the morphology of the pits.<ref name=York-2015>{{cite journal |last1=York |first1=Ryan A. |last2=Patil |first2=Chinar |last3=Hulsey |first3=C.
