====Pentecostal churches====
The [[Pentecostal Church of God]] teaches that "We recognize the scriptural duty of all our people, as well as ministers, to pay tithes as unto the Lord. Tithes should be used for the support of active ministry and for the propagation of the Gospel and the work of the Lord in general."<ref name="SmithEmerson2008"/>

The [[International Pentecostal Holiness Church]] likewise instructs the faithful that:<ref name="SmithEmerson2008"/>
