===Miscellaneous issues and debates=== With the exception of toothpaste intended to be used on pets such as dogs and cats, and toothpaste used by [[astronaut]]s, most toothpaste is not intended to be swallowed, and doing so may cause [[nausea]] or [[diarrhea]].
