==General== Angam Day is a day of [[celebration (party)|celebration]] and a time of reflection for the Nauruan [[nation|people]]. Twice in its [[History of Nauru|history]], the [[Demographics of Nauru|Nauruan population]] fell below 1,500, and the [[Nauruan people|Nauruan ethnic group]] have been considered in danger of extinction.
