===1992–2000: Early work and international breakthrough===
Blanchett's first stage role was opposite [[Geoffrey Rush]], in the 1992 [[David Mamet]] play ''[[Oleanna (play)|Oleanna]]'' for the [[Sydney Theatre Company]].
