==Language== {{Main|Cheyenne language}} The Cheyenne of Montana and Oklahoma speak the [[Cheyenne language]], known as ''Ts臈h茅sen臈stsest券tse'' (common spelling: Tsisinstsistots). Approximately 800 people speak Cheyenne in Oklahoma.<ref name=ohs/> There are only a handful of vocabulary differences between the two locations. The Cheyenne alphabet contains 14 letters. The Cheyenne language is one of the larger [[Algonquian languages|Algonquian-language]] group. Formerly, the S贸'taeo'o (S贸'ta茅taneo'o) or Suhtai (Sutaio) bands of Southern and Northern Cheyenne spoke ''S贸'ta茅ka'臈拧k贸ne'' or ''S贸'taen臈stsest券tse'', a language so close to ''Ts臈h茅sen臈stsest券tse'' (Cheyenne language), that it is sometimes termed a Cheyenne dialect.{{citation needed|date= November 2014}}
