The highway goes east for {{cvt|7|km|mi|0}} to its junction with the Coquihalla Highway ([[British Columbia Highway 5|Highway 5]]), where it exits the freeway and continues for {{cvt|127|km|mi}} on a segment known as the ''Hope-Princeton Highway'', passing the [[Hope Slide]] en route to [[Allison Pass]], [[Manning Park|Manning Provincial Park]], and Sunday Summit; at Princeton, the Crowsnest Highway meets [[British Columbia Highway 5A|Highway 5A]].<ref name="bcmap" /> East of Princeton, the Crowsnest Highway goes southeast for {{cvt|67|km|mi}} to [[Keremeos, British Columbia|Keremeos]], where it meets [[British Columbia Highway 3A|Highway 3A]], leading towards [[Penticton]] and [[British Columbia Highway 97|Highway 97]]. Another {{cvt|46|km|mi}} southeast, and the Crowsnest Highway reaches [[Osoyoos, British Columbia|Osoyoos]] and a junction with [[British Columbia Highway 97|Highway 97]]. Another {{cvt|26|km|mi}} east, the Crowsnest Highway meets [[British Columbia Highway 395|Highway 395]] at the southern end of [[Christina Lake, British Columbia|Christina Lake]].<ref name="bcmap" /> The Crowsnest Highway travels for {{cvt|47|km|mi}} through [[Bonanza Pass]] to its junction with [[British Columbia Highway 3B|Highway 3B]] at [[Nancy Greene Lake]], which is the cutoff to [[Rossland, British Columbia|Rossland]] and [[Trail, British Columbia|Trail]]. It is another {{cvt|26|km|mi}} east to [[Castlegar, British Columbia|Castlegar]], where the Crowsnest Highway intersects [[British Columbia Highway 22|Highway 22]] and Highway 3A, leading towards [[Nelson, British Columbia|Nelson]]. Approximately {{cvt|26|km|mi}} east of Castlegar, the Crowsnest Highway reaches its eastern junction with Highway 3B; another {{cvt|11|km|mi}} to the east it converges with [[British Columbia Highway 6|Highway 6]] at [[Salmo, British Columbia|Salmo]] and the two highways share a [[Concurrency (road)|concurrency]] for {{cvt|14|km|mi|0}} to Burnt Flat.<ref name="bcmap" /> The Crowsnest Highway continues through the [[Kootenay Pass]] on the Salmo-Creston Highway, a stretch known colloquially as the ''Kootenay Skyway'', or ''Salmo-Creston Skyway''. {{convert|67|km|mi|abbr=on}} east of Burnt Flat, the Crowsnest Highway reaches [[Creston, British Columbia|Creston]], just past junctions with [[British Columbia Highway 21|Highway 21]] and Highway 3A. {{cvt|40|km|mi}} later, south of [[Yahk, British Columbia|Yahk]], [[British Columbia Highway 95|Highway 95]] merges onto the Crowsnest Highway. The two highways share a common alignment for {{cvt|72|km|mi}} northeast to [[Cranbrook, British Columbia|Cranbrook]] and the junction with [[British Columbia Highway 95A|Highway 95A]]. Another {{cvt|6|km|mi|0}} east, Highway 95 diverges north while [[British Columbia Highway 93|Highway 93]] merges onto the Crowsnest Highway from a shared alignment. Highway 93 and the Crowsnest share a common alignment for the next {{cvt|53|km|mi}} southeast to [[Elko, British Columbia|Elko]], where Highway 93 diverges south. {{cvt|31|km|mi}} northeast of Elko, the Crowsnest Highway reaches [[Fernie, British Columbia|Fernie]], then it goes north another {{cvt|30|km|mi}} to its junction with [[British Columbia Highway 43|Highway 43]] at [[Sparwood, British Columbia|Sparwood]], and another {{cvt|19|km|mi}} east, the highway reaches the boundary with Alberta at Crowsnest Pass.<ref name="bcmap" />
