This request is part of the approved [[Our Lady of Fátima#13 July 1917|message]] of Our Lady of Fátima, and was requested in order to prevent the [[World War II]] from happening. The purpose of this devotion is to perform acts of reparation for sins committed against the [[Immaculate Heart of Mary]].<ref name=":0" />
