== Equipment ==
The wooden pieces, in the piece version of the game, resemble the [[pawn (chess)|pawn]]s in [[chess]], with the identity of the piece being written on the base and thus invisible during play. In the card version of the game, the pack comprises 42 cards consisting of two sets of 21 distinct cards ranking, from highest to lowest, as follows:<ref name="pagat"/>
