==College career== Plummer accepted a football [[Athletic scholarship|scholarship]] to [[Arizona State Sun Devils football|Arizona State University]] in [[Tempe, Arizona|Tempe]]. He did not [[Redshirt (college sports)|redshirt]] and took over as the starting quarterback (from [[Grady Benton]]) early in his freshman season in [[1993 Arizona State Sun Devils football team|1993]]<!--, where he remained for the rest of his four years from 1993-1996-->.
