===Revival===
In October 2010, ''[[New York Magazine]]'' revealed that ''Punk'd'' was being revived with [[Justin Bieber]] replacing Kutcher as the host; however, it stated that Kutcher would remain as executive producer.<ref>{{cite web |last1=Adalian |first1=Josef |title=MTV Bringing Back Punk'd, With Host Justin Bieber |url=https://www.vulture.com/2010/10/justin_bieber_punkd.html |website=Vulture |access-date=June 26, 2022 |date=October 5, 2010}}</ref> After a five-year hiatus, the program was revived with a March 2012 premiere. The first episode of the ninth season, featuring Bieber as a guest host, was filmed in late August 2011.
