== Ideology ==
The PRG advocates [[social liberalism]], [[classical radicalism]], [[secularism]] to its French extent known as ''[[laïcité]]'', [[progressivism]], [[European federalism]], and [[individualism|individual freedom]]; it differs from the [[social democrats]] of the [[Socialist Party (France)|Socialist Party]] mainly by its strong attachment to [[private property]].
