===Rise and Popularity=== Despite early criticism, Chāyāvād gradually gained popularity. The poetry, characterized by lyrical beauty, emotional depth, and philosophical introspection, resonated with a generation of readers seeking aesthetic and spiritual expression in the Hindi language. The movement was lauded for enriching Khari Boli Hindi with a heightened poetic sensibility. By the 1930s, Chāyāvād had become the dominant literary voice in Hindi poetry.<ref>Pachori, Satya S.
